Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CFD Engineer to join our team of Engineering consultants. In this role, you will set up, execute, analyze and report on advanced CFD simulations for clients primarily in the life science industry, ensuring energy efficiency, optimal temperature, humidity, and airflow conditions for their projects to maintain the integrity of sensitive products. You will also work on projects for other industries including but not limited to  Food, Renewable Energy and Maritime. You will work closely with senior engineers and specialists, project managers, and clients to deliver high-quality simulation results that meet our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and conduct CFD simulations of, for example, HVAC systems for the life science industry.
  • Analyze and interpret simulation data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Use CFD models to improve designs, enhancing performance, reducing energy consumption and ensuring compliance.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and specialists to develop and validate simulation models.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations of simulation findings for clients.
  • Assist in the development of best practices, automation and methodologies for  simulations in the life science industry and beyond.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in CFD technologies.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with a strong foundation in fluid dynamics courses.
  • Experience with CFD simulation software. Experience with HVAC is not needed but a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.
  • Eligibility to work in Denmark or the UK.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for automation and data analysis is a plus, not a requirement.
