Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fluid Mechanics Engineer to join our team of Engineering consultants. In this role, you will set up, execute, analyze and report on advanced CFD simulations for clients primarily in the Process and Life science industry, ensuring energy efficiency, optimal temperature, humidity, and airflow conditions for their projects to maintain the integrity of high value products.
You may also work on projects for other industries including but not limited to automotive, Renewable Energy and Maritime. You will work closely with partners and senior specialists to deliver high-quality simulation results that meet our clients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Lead advanced simulations: Set up and run CFD models of a wide range of processes and physics, including spray dryers, bio-reactors, GxP warehouses, clean rooms and high-power electronics.
- Drive real-world impact: Deliver insights that help clients reduce commissioning time, cut energy costs, and safeguard product integrity.
- Shape industry practices: Collaborate with senior experts to validate models, develop best practices, and advance the role of CFD within key sectors.
- Communicate with key stakeholders: Translate complex simulation data into clear, actionable recommendations through reports, presentations, and client meetings.
- Innovate and improve: Contribute to automation, new methodologies, and technological advancements that push CFD forward.
Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in fluid dynamics and a passion for applying CFD to real-world challenges. Ideally, you bring:
- A Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Bio-, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience with CFD in industry or applied research.
- Proficiency with CFD simulation software (STAR-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Clear communication in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a project-driven environment.
- Already living in Denmark and a valid permit to work in Denmark. The role is on‑site in Søborg with limited possibility of working from home.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with GxP environments or the life sciences industry.
- Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for simulation workflows.
- Danish speaking is preferable but not a requirement.
